Today I saw something interesting on the web. It’s a device for parents to install for their kids to help to limit the amount of time they spent playing video games at home. Let’s suppose the parents wants to limit the number of minutes playable by their children on the Nintendo to 2 hours per day. They will configure the device to a limit of two hours. The device is plugged in the wall outlet and the Nintendo is plugged inside the side. But the thing is the AC cord line plugged into the device is locked there or not easily dis-connectable. So once configured to two hours, the children can play only 2 hours.

They can play one hour, than stop there. Then later on they can restart playing and continue. But as soon as they have played two hours, the device disconnect power from the plug and children cannot play. I dislike the fact that it is simply a tie-wrap that makes locks the device. I feel a child could easily cut it… I would have prefer a lock instead… But maybe the idea is if the child cut the tie wrap, when the parent see it, it will keep the Nintendo for one week as a punishment maybe…

Here is the description from the website of the device: (This is the link)
